Hello Sir/Madam My uncle has been diagnosed with Low-Grade Glioma in
the Left Sylvian Fissure approximately 3.9 x 3 mm, is there any cure for this. If any one have got it cured, or know about cure please tell me

I had my tubes tied when my last child was born. At the age of 4, she passed away from a pontine glioma. (brainstem cancer). I am considering having another child. I am not sure how to go about it. To try to get my tubal reversed, or try invitro fertilization… I am also curious as to the cost of such a procedure, as we are not rich people and insurance won’t cover it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Now cyst where tumor was is getting larger.Doctor stopping chemo in June and see what happens. Any hope for me?

I am in a abit of a situation. My mom has cancer grade 4 glioma. She takes radiation every day and chemo. She was in the ER a last week and they told me she had a large amount of crack in her system. So i come to find out that a man name james been visiting her. And i think he is giving her crack.. I think he lives a couple house down from where my moms used to live before she got into the nursing home. I got a description of what he loooks like. Now she in the nursing home and yesterday he came and got her for 4 housr and i believe they got high. I asked her about it but she told me that she is not doing drugs any more. But she does not know that I know that she is doing drugs. I am pissed I want to find the guy and confront him and if a fight happen it happens i am 18 and hes about 40 and a adicct so i believe i will win. So can you give me aany ways of how t confront him about the situatution… Or what would you do if you knew the person was giving you mom drugs.

there is mid-line shift,the lesion is surounded by edema with minimal enhancement.

i just read about schizophrenia online, and i have some of the signs::

- lack of emotion (i haven’t cried in almost a year, and i don’t laugh so much anymore)
- i sleep a lot more than usual
- i hear things sometimes, like mutterings
- i see things, make things out of shapes
- i don’t want to socialize with anyone
- i lack interest in life
- i get headaches every day and i’m paranoid that i have glioma
- i feel things that aren’t there, like bugs crawling on me
- i’ve been sleeping more than usual
- i change my mind about things daily
- i’m paranoid
- i have trouble speaking sometimes, like i couldn’t remember the word for “cup” the other day
- i stare off a lot

but i don’t feel like i’m insane, if i told my family these things they’d think i was lying or something. please can i have some advice, i don’t want to tell anyone if it’s just a fit of paranoia. thanks.
i also have really bad concentration, and i’m really neurotic about.. EVERYTHING. like, i dropped out of school, when that’s something that i would never do…. i change my mind daily about what i think of myself and others around me…but i’m not dangerous or loud … i would never harm anyone around me and i haven’t harmed myself in years.

1yr ago when I was 24 yrs old and 15 wks pregnant I was normal one day and within a week I was severly dizzy, naseua/vomiting, off balance, difficulty swallowing and opening my mouth, my eyes started going in different directions. They ran an MRI and found a lesion in my brainstem about the size of a grape. The docs thought it was a glioma and wanted to do surgery ASAP. They predicted it was a stage 3 or 4 and without treatment I would have only a few months. Three other opinions said definitely inoperable and I was placed on steriods to reduce inflammation. Went completely back to normal and then had milder neurological symptoms again a few weeks before my due date (5 mths later). Had an MRI-was told it had grown 4 mm. My neurosuregeon didn’t necessarily agree. Was placed back on steriods, went back to normal and have had zero issues for 6 months now. They feel a biopsy in the brainstem is really risky if the lesion is not changing or causing illness. Ever heard of this?

Well first of all, I am a survivor of a brain tumor. In the year 2000 I was diagnosed with a grade 2 glioma (tumor of the brain). I sought treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I couldn’t have been happier knowing I was on my way to a speedy recovery. My troubles got worse when my employer cancelled my medical coverage in 2003. I understood that three years was the maximum coverage they would allow. Around that time I first signed up for assistance at the public aid offices in Joliet, Illinois, to no avail. And after each application was submitted, I was mailed paperwork asking for additional information. A couple years passed when I asked why it was taking so long. I was told they need this information in order to get it process further. This was several years ago and nothing has changed. At this time I have new tumor progression in another part of the brain and am without medical and prescription coverage and feel that I have been given the runaround all this time. I’d like to take action against the state but haven’t given much thought about seeking an attorney. I wanted to hear your opinions before taking any steps further. Thanks so much.

wednesday morning my cat had a seizure. We rushed him to the hospital where he stayed there overnight. When we went to visit him he went blind in one eye and didnt remember who we were. He kept walking in circles. Over night he went blind in both of his eyes. The next morning he went in for his MRI where he was put under anesticia. He had a seizure and his heart stopped. The veternarian told us he had a slow growing cancer, Glioma cancer. The worst kind of cancer anyone could ever get. The tumor had eaten away at his brain. I miss him so much and i dont understand why he never had symptons when he was little. I cant stop thinking about him i miss him so much
His name was Bailey. He was a silver Egyptian mau. He was 6 years old and was healthy the day before this all happened. All i can think of is his meow got a little raspy the last day.
the vet said he had BEYOND stage 4 cancer. and your right, he didnt start having symptons until it started to affect the brain. I am happy he didnt suffer yesterday while having his seizure because he was under antescia

My daughter is 37 and just had a brain MRI. Symptoms are memory loss, hot flashes (pre menopause ruled out) and left arm and hand tingling. They said they need to do an MRA to see if it is a tumor or MS. Any thoughts on this reading? What does this mean? Thank you so much in advance.

Nonenhancing area of increased T2 weighted signal within the left parletooccipital periventricular white matter abutting the posterior aspect of the trigone and lateral aspect of the splenium of corpus callosum measuring 2cm with no associated bleed or significant mass effect and no evidence for diffusion restriction. Differential diagnostic considerations include low grade glioma, atypical multiple sclerosis or an inflammatory process.

Also, a 5mm pineal cyst.
