I had a non-fuctioning pituitary adenoma removed two years ago and I think my thyroid function is not right. My skin is dry, my hair is thinning, my temperature control is out of whack (feel cold when it’s hot and hot when it’s cold), and am putting on weight despite not eating much and eating healthily when I do eat. I also tire easily. However, tests for thyroid function indicated no problem. How often is an underfunctioning thyroid dianosis missed – or should I start elsewhere for an answer to my condition? I am in my late forties.

i have a pituitary adenoma and just recently my doctor said my mri came back and the tumor is practically gone which means that my chances of getting pregnant are greater than what they had been. i have been wearing the patch but i do take it off, and sometimes it falls off, for the week that i am due to have a period… i am gaining some weight and i feel nauseous a lot… not really feeling like eating too much but when i do i pig out and have cravings… my period came but is kinda spotty.. it was normal for like half a day and then is back to barely being there…

i need some advice… i cant really even afford a pregnancy test right now because of my tumor i have not had a job and i living with my boyfriend’s mom.. and i am too nervous to talk to her about it and ask to borrow 10 bucks.. any ideas??

the meaning (the suggestion that if you were discussing UFOs you wouldn’t necessarily be talking as if to an old friend) is absurd, so I’m wondering if the absurdity shows up in the grammar.

Not very often, but every once in a while I have the following symptoms in this order: Blurred or fading peripheral vision, inability to read simple sentences or speak clearly on simple subjects, slight headache around the ears, numbing of my right hand, followed by numbing of the face. Within 20 – 30 minutes all these symptoms come and then go away completely. First time I noticed this problem, I was about 19 or 20 years old. Now I am 25, and I seem to notice these symptoms occuring about once every 4 or 5 months. What should I do? I take birth control – does that influence possibility of tumor growth? I’ve also had a tubular adenoma removed from the breast – it was benign. Does anyone know if I should be concerned about brain tumors?
